Trinity Creek Farm - Quality Sport Horses and Ponies

Trinity Creek's Riding Lesson Program

At Trinity Creek Farm we offer riding lessons on gentle, proven school horses. Lessons are offered to anyone, whether you are six or 86. There is nothing better for a child than building self-esteem, confidence, self control and balance while learning to build a relationship with the horse. We focus on classical dressage as the foundation and will advance riders into stadium and cross-country jumping as their skill and interest develops. Students will also have opportunities to attend schooling shows. Students are welcome to haul their own horses in for lessons with current vaccination records and Coggins within 12 months

Gracie Riding Slick Willie C "Gumby"

Gracie has been riding with us for about 1 year. She has become a very accomplished rider in that short time and even pinned at her first horse show riding Slick Willie C, AKA Gumby.

Joanna riding Nancy El Nefous, also known as Munchkin at Meadow Creek Horse Park

Joanna is a bold young rider who aspires to become a jockey. We are trying to convince her to be an eventer. She has recently been inspired by Gina Miles. You can see from this photo that she may make it to the Olympics just like Gina! Joanna also did well in her first horse show and is pictured above with Gracie.

Allison riding her POA mare Hope

Allison just began riding with Trinity Creek Farm in Fall of 2010. She recently took her POA mare to the Fort Worth Stock Show POA show and placed 1st in Hunter Under Saddle and 2nd Hunter Over Fences. We are very proud of her accomplishments.

 Mykenzie riding Munchkin

Mykenzie is our newest student who just began in January 2011. Mykenzie is very interested in dressage and jumping. Welcome Mykenzie.

Kristin riding Seven Year Itch, also known as Itchy

Kristin has been with Trinity Creek since fall 2007 and rides Rocky Margurita, a beautiful chestnut thoroughbred mare with the barn name of Ginger. Kristin and Ginger work very well together.  Kristin is also involved with the Waco Pony Club as an instructor. The bay mare is Kristin riding Itchy during a lesson.

Connie riding her nice Quarter Horse mare Lonestar

First I must start by saying that Connie is a cowgirl and enjoys her trail rides in a western saddle. Connie wanted to come out and take some lessons to improve her seat, we suggested trying a dressage saddle and the next thing we knew she had her own dressage saddle. I don't think we can replace her love for western riding, but she's doing great with her posting and getting Star to pay attention. If I could just get Chris in an English saddle...  Welcome Connie and Chris!

Ashley riding Star

Ashley recently moved to Texas and began riding on a regular basis. Ashley's goal is to become a barrel racer. Ashley is taking dressage lessons...because her mother wants her to :-)  Picture coming!

Matt riding Blues Traveler, barn name Tuesday

Matt joined Trinity Creek Farm in early March. Matt began his lesson program to improve his riding and learn more about horses. Matt has great natural balance and recently began jumping.

Carolyn riding Salute to Destiny aka Desi

Carolyn is one of the newest additions to Trinity Creek Farm. Carolyn owns her own horse and has shown lower level eventing in the past. Look for Carolyn in the future riding for team Trinity.

Layne riding Betcha Like Kitty

Layne is also a member of the Huaca Pony Club and comes all the way from Lake Whitney. Layne owns an Arabian mare by the name of Firefly. Layne enjoys working with Kitty during lessons and has rapidly progressed from jumping 18" to 2' 6". We look forward to working with Layne and her new mare Lacy.

Skye and Emmy with our superstar pony Nancy El Nefous, aka Munchkin

Emmy began riding with Mark at the age of five. She has a true passion, natural talent and a dream. Emmy would like to some day ride in the Olympics. Munchkin has been her faithful steed and companion to help her get there. Emmy has several ribbons from her first show at six years of age. Skye is Emmy's big sister.  Skye excels in music, playing both violin and piano.  The girls live in Terrell, Texas and we just don't get to see them often enough.

Cindy Gamster riding her Morgan mare, Marabel

Cindy has been a good friend and student of Mark's for several years. Cindy lives in Kaufman and we hope to have her down to Ben Hur in the near future for continued lessons. Cindy's twin daughters, Kylie and McKenzie also have the horse bug. You can often find Cindy and the girls at the Lone Star Arabian Horse Shows.
